I agree with you wholeheartedly here ... and it makes my blood boil when I see parents treat their offspring like property. Maybe because I hated it so much when my parents made me feel like that, when I had my own kids I refused to treat them that way. <br /><br />I also remember something someone said to me a long time before I became a mother, something that was at the time amusing but oh so true in the long run ... "we don't own kids, we rent them."
